Port Edwards School Forest

John Edwards High School Ecology Club

The high school ecology club was formed during the 2008-2009 school year. A recycling program was instated in all of the classrooms with a weekly pick-up carried out by club members. In April, the members organized a full day event for Earth Day 2009 with the goal of increasing environmental awareness, promoting lifelong personal wellness, and performing community service. To honor the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day in 2010, the JEHS ecology club hopes to make it an even bigger celebration!
