Welcome to our Nurse Page!
The goal of school health services is to promote safety and remove or reduce barriers to learning. We know that students who are healthy learn more and students who learn more are healthier. We wish all students to have a healthy and rewarding educational experience!

Students who become ill or injured at school will be seen in the health office or will be assisted by school staff where the injury/illness occurred. If your child is unable to return to class, a parent/guardian will be contacted. For your child's comfort, please ensure that you have several phone numbers where you and/or an emergency contact can be reached to make arrangements to pick your student up as soon as possible. The following guidelines are used by health office staff to determine when an ill child may return to school:
*Students who have a fever (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or greater) must be excluded from school until the student is fever-free - without the use of fever-reducing medication, for 24 hours before returning to school*
*Students who are vomiting or have diarrhea must be excluded from school for at least 24 hours after the last episode of vomiting/diarrhea*
*Other URI (upper respiratory infection) symptoms that are disruptive to learning, such as: thick green drainage from the nose for multiple days, frequent coughing, severe congestion*
