This law requires students through grade 12 to be immunized according to their age/grade by the beginning of the school year. Immunization is a shared responsibility:
Helpful Hints:
- Keep a copy of your child's immunization record. Print this Immunization Record, if needed.
- Notify your child's school each time your child receives an immunization.
- The Wood County Health Department holds immunization clinics at their offices in Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids once a month. A parent must accompany anyone under the age of 18 years. On their website you can also sign up to receive reminders when your child is overdue for an immunization.
